Sam Turner hones in on two horses expected to be nice prices at Leicester and Chelmsford
Dontminddboys (Leicester, 3.00)
On a poor day with precious little to enthuse over, the veteran DONTMINDDBOYS could be worth a modest each-way bet now he returns to his favoured venue.
The three miles of Market Rasen looked to expose the selection last time and coming back in trip could induce a prominent showing from Robin Dickin's gelding, who is two from three at the east Midlands track.
Admittedly, it is tough to catch a Dickin winner these days but his horses have been running a little better of late and he has a couple of good opportunities on the card.
Wimpole Hall (Chelmsford, 7.30)
WIMPOLE HALL boasts the top three figures in a contest unfortunately blighted by non runners.
The selection - who has won here three times (twice over tonights’ trip) - paid for a slow start last time and couldn’t replicate his track victory from last November. He tried to make up the ground too quickly but ran into trouble on the final bend and despite making late progress, had no chance of reaching the leaders.
It’s a stretch to say he was unlucky but the run was not as bad as it initially looked and Wimpole Hall could be worth another chance with him expected to be the outsider of four.
