Forseti did the business for Sam Turner on Monday and he has two more fancied selections lined up for Tuesday.
Storm Goddess (Doncaster, 3.50)
Trainer Charlie Longsdon saddled a welcome winner at Lingfield yesterday and STORM GODDESS could be a value bet to lift this finale.
Admittedly, it does take a leap of faith to support her today, but the handicapper has shown her some leniency for two seemingly subdued performances this term and she may be capable of better now she returns to a track where she has already proved her effectiveness.
There may not have been much depth in the contest Storm Goddess won on Town Moor last January and she was in better form a year ago, but her recent performances are factored into the price and the form of her stable offers further encouragement.
Wimpole Hall (Chelmsford, 7.30)
In the circumstances, WIMPOLE HALL ran an encouraging race on Saturday evening and could be worth siding with for small units in the finale.
The selection's inexperienced rider has at least won on the gelding, but the duo found themselves detached from an early stage at the weekend, facing a hopeless task from some way out. It was to the seven-year-old's credit that he actually made up the lost ground at the start and closed up on his rivals on the long run to the straight before meeting interference.
In essence, everything that could have gone wrong did and Wimpole Hall did particularly well to finish within seven lengths of the winner, Lucky's Dream. I will be risking a few bob that Wimpole Hall bounces back at one of his favoured venues given his stats at the Essex venue read 1315315.
