track-bia14s-diary-v2Catterick expert ROSE MARMARA (stall seven of 12) returns to her favourite venue for the first time this season and she looks worth a small interest in the 6f Millbry Hill Veterans’ Handicap (2.45).

Brian Rothwell’s six-year-old has form figures of 1117 (3-4) at this sharp left-handed track and will appreciate the cut back to 6f after failing to place over longer trips in both previous starts this term. Her wins have come on good or faster going but she has placed form on soft ground and she represents the youngest age group eligible for these races.

Given the soft ground and the likelihood of the runners heading stands’ side in the straight, I want to save on well-drawn pace angle TRICKY DICKY (stall 12) on what is very much a ‘keep powder dry before Royal Ascot’ kind of punting day.

Rose Marmara – Catterick 2.45 (0.5pts win, 16-1 Betfair, Paddy Power)

Tricky Dicky – Catterick 2.45 (1pt win, 9-4 Paddy Power)

Tricky Dicky is your NAP of the Day on GG.
