track-bia14s-diary-v2CITRON MAJOR (stall three of ten) ran a shocker at Redcar last time but it could pay to side with him to bounce back in the Sky Bet Go-Racing-In-Yorkshire Summer Festival Handicap at the same venue on Sunday (5.15).

I’m quite happy to forgive his latest effort as it was his first run following May’s 7f York success and he’s never recorded back-to-back victories, finishing ninth, 12th, last of seven and last of 12 on his four starts immediately following a win. The smallish field will suit – his record in 6f-7f handicaps of 11 or fewer runners stands at 11517371 (4-8) – and the Nigel Tinkler yard remains in fine form. He also wears a tongue tie for the first time.
