Track Bias Diary – Tuesday 16 July

track bias diary

PARION (stall six of eight once adjusted for the non-runners) looks the best bet of the day in division two of the 7.5f Ann Eaves Birthday Handicap at Beverley (3.45).

Richard Fahey’s filly ran a fantastic race against the draw bias over course and distance last time, finishing a staying-on 10-1 fifth from stall 14 of 14 in a race dominated by low draws – the first four came from stalls one, three, two and six. There should be sufficient early pace despite the small field, as Olivander (stall eight) and Echo Of Lightning (stall five) both like to go from the front.

Parion also caught the eye on her penultimate start when coming from off the pace to finish a 25-1 seventh of 14 from a tricky high draw at Redcar and looks over-priced at around the 5-1 mark.
