track-bia14s-diary-v2MAJESTIC STONE is a 15-race maiden but his come-from-behind style is perfect for the round course at Newcastle and he can break his duck in the 1m2f apprentice handicap that opens the card (5.15).

He did best of the hold-up horses when second to Sir Mark Prescott’s Grey Spirit at Redcar last time and the winner followed up.

GREY DESTINY (stall three of 12) reserves his best form for big fields on Tapeta and has ideal conditions in division one of the 7f Class 6 handicap (6.20). the veteran was third best of the hold-up horses when a 14-1 fifth of 11 at Wolverhampton last time and was also badly berthed in stall 12. He hasn’t yet won at Newcastle but has placed on three occasions, including when a head second at 11-1.

Majestic Stone – Newcastle 5.15 (1.5pts win, 7-2 generally)

Grey Destiny – Newcastle 6.20 (1pt each-way, 8-1 generally)
