5.30pm Wolverhampton – BetMGM: It’s Showtime Handicap

Tony Carroll’s CITY CYCLONE was a facile three-length winner at Wolverhampton last Saturday and the in-form five-year-old is looking to make it two wins on the bounce in the 5:30pm contest. He’s been given a 7lbs rise by the handicapper for that success, but he was much the best that day and suggested there could be a lot more to come in the coming months. This contest does lack significant strength in depth, so the Carroll charge can duly secure two wins in the space of seven days.

6:00pm Wolverhampton – Win 1M With BetMGM’s Golden Goals Maiden Stakes

Richard Hannon’s ONLY ONE BLUE failed on debut when finishing second at Southwell at the end of December, but the daughter of Blue Point certainly showed some ability and she can go one better in the 6:00pm contest at Wolverhampton. Sure to improve immeasurably for her first career start, the three-year-old will have some lively rivals in the shape of Wanderlust and Run With It, but she showed enough first time out to be worth backing in this maiden event.

6.30pm Wolverhampton – Gamble Responsibly At BetMGM Handicap

Kevin Philppart De Foy’s Manrara is entitled to be well fancied for the 6:30pm contest, as the flourishing three-year-old daughter of Camelot is bidding for a hat-trick of wins, but she will have to deal with a career high mark of 71 in this contest and could well stretch. So, take her on with Dylan Cunha’s hugely consistent PATROL, who finally broke his maiden tag at the ninth time of asking last time out at Southwell and that confidence-boosting win could see her win again. Given a 3lb bump in the weights for a three-quarters-of-a-length win, she will need to improve again, but has the capabilities to put pressure on Manrara.

7.30pm Wolverhampton – Boost Your Acca At BetMGM Handicap

There’s a competitive 6f 20y contest at 7:30pm with several lining up with notable chances, but the one to side with is GO STEELERS GO for David Loughnane. Winless in her four starts to date, she will need to show significant improvement to land victory here, but she’s been dropped to a mark of 54 and with Taryn Langley claiming 7lbs then the daughter of Ardad could be an each-way player here. She just fell away in the closing stages at Southwell last time out when shaping well two furlongs from home, but this easier surface could give her more chance of seeing out the finish.

8.30pm Wolverhampton – Weekly Free Bets With BetMGM Extra Handicap

Scott Dixon’s VISIBILITY is a regular visitor to Wolverhampton and a few occasions before. He can make it a magnificent seven in the final race on the card on Saturday, as the eight-year-old has dropped down the handicap a little bit in recent times and is now 1lb lower than his last winning mark. Third last time out, he could potentially kick on from that run and in a winnable finale he can grab success again.
