Took 17 attempts to open his account over fences but did so by 29l at Sedgefield (2m5f, soft) in February, and doubled up over that same C&D a few days later; had to settle for fourth in valuable series final here (2m4f, good) last month but that still goes down as a good effort, and he may still have more to offer. |

Well below best form for new stable this season, and came off the bridle quite a long way from home before keeping on for modest fourth over hurdles at Hereford (2m3f, good to soft) in February; continues to slip down the weights and has cheekpieces refitted for today's return to chasing but others have less to prove. |
