Runner-up on sole French start (1m7f, very soft) and was bang there when falling two out on stable debut at Leopardstown (2m, soft) in December; made amends with easy win at 1-7 in Limerick maiden (2m, soft) last month; today's race is an entirely different proposition but he's a very lightly raced 5yo who could be anything and Willie Mullins has a fine record in this race. |

Beaten in December on first two hurdle starts and today's race is much tougher than the Punchestown maiden hurdle (2m, yielding) he won in January; however, he did it in fine style and has potential at the top level given his bumper exploits, having been second in last season's Champion Bumper here (2m, good to soft) before winning the Punchestown Champion Bumper (2m, yielding); one of three for Willie Mullins who has an excellent record in this race. |

Classy bumper horse last season; bolted up in a Grade 2 bumper at the Dublin Racing Festival last year and only narrowly denied in the Champion Bumper before gaining compensation in the Grade 1 bumper here in April; hasn't kicked on over hurdles this term, beaten at 1-14 at Cork before another odds on defeat at Leopardstown last time; no certainty back at 2m again. |

Expensive purchase from the point-to-point field in 2019; has taken time to impose his presence over hurdles, but going the right way now; impressive when bolting up in a Down Royal maiden hurdle in January; beaten only 3/4l by Slip Of The Tongue at Punchestown after receiving a bump at the last; 4lb better off now, and rates a serious threat on that basis. |
