Form & Verdict
Thorough stayer who ran well over C&D on his only previous visit to Cartmel; not really firing on all cylinders in recent months and was no match for a progressive rival when second at Worcester (2m7f, good) 19 days ago but remains on a good mark and features prominently in calculations.

Form & Verdict
Came good for Micky Hammond with wide-margin success at Hexham (3m, good) last month and displayed willing attitude when following up over C&D (good to soft; front pair clear) a fortnight later; another 8lb higher today but still respected in current mood.

Verdict

Larry Looby struck form last month and is respected in his bid to complete a hat-trick but thorough stayer GAME LINE ran very well in defeat over C&D off a much higher mark last summer and was seemingly back in good form on his latest outing. Dee Star made his jockey work very hard before eventually finishing well for second over C&D on Saturday but will be considered if he turns out again.[Chris Wilson]
