Very useful on his day but far from consistent; as good as ever when narrowly denied in the Scottish Stewards' Cup at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago but not in the same form at Newmarket last weekend; fine at 7f and certainly no shock were he to bounce straight back to his best for a stable that has won this three times since 2015.
