Form & Verdict

C&D winner last March (good to soft) off a 5lb higher mark but he was an early faller on his return to chasing at Ascot, then ran flat back here (good) and ran no race at all at Ludlow; has lots to prove all of a sudden and is unraced on ground faster than good.

Now 8lb lower than when winning over C&D last March but he's having a ragged season and not sure his second to easy winner Family Business represented a return to form; others appeal more.

Back on his last winning mark but he was an early faller on his return to chasing at Ascot and then ran flat at Newbury (2m, good) when beaten a distance into third; that effort casts plenty of doubt.

Form & Verdict

Useful form over hurdles at 2m-2m3f until pulling up at Cheltenham in November and suffered the same fate on his chase debut at Wincanton on Boxing Day; while it's hard to feel confident about him on the back of that, his trainer is clearly happy to go again over fences and the yard is having a good run; effective on good (unraced on quicker).

All four wins have been here, latterly rallying gamely to fend off a subsequent winner over C&D in mid-February (soft); he's now 2-2 in this headgear combination (previous success over hurdles) and looks sure to be involved after a 4lb rise.

C&D winner on soft last April but chase career went to pot after and recent win here came over hurdles (in these aids); need to have faith in him repeating the form back over fences off 3lb higher than latest chase loss.

Beat Saligo Bay in a maiden hurdle here in April 2022 and it was again at this venue that he won his first chase a year on (2m1f, soft; same mark); offered little in that discipline since but could revive back over hurdles with new headgear tried.

Form & Verdict

Won comfortably over 2m2f at Fontwell (soft) in November but has never been the easiest to predict and has struggled since; all her best form is with give underfoot.

Winless since last February and he's yet to hit top form this term, undergoing wind surgery before coming in a remote third of four at Southwell (2m4f) last month; others appeal more.

Hasn't been on his game for a while now and an unlikely winner unless further wind surgery helps, though he did run well to be third after his previous op.

Well treated on last season's form but hasn't been on his game for a while now and was pulled up at Doncaster a month ago when Imac Wood finished third.
