Bit slipped through mouth when soundly beaten over C&D last June; acts on soft/heavy and has won over both sprint trips on AW for new yard but had a serious off-day last month which raises a doubt back on turf.

Big step forward for new yard this year, winning a Southwell maiden and impressive in his first turf handicap, over 5f at Musselburgh ten days ago (good to soft); is due an 11lb rise in future so has a big chance without a penalty if navigating the widest draw.

Promise in Ireland, including when just over 8l behind Hispanic at the Curragh, but his form has taken off for the Barrons this season; easy winner of a Musselburgh 5f handicap (good to soft) in April and although beaten a head by Danger Alert at Chester last time, this one was poorly drawn and made up a lot of ground out wide on the home turn; 11lb higher mark has kicked in this time but the Musselburgh run offers hope that he's still well treated; unraced on faster than good (dam won on good to firm); greatly respected.

Strong finisher when winning both 6f starts as 2yo (good to soft/good); just touched off on AW debut on return but raced freely and faded back on turf at Newmarket last month; yard gets the best out of its sprinters but this looks a tough task, having first 5f run from wide draw.

Went the right way as a 3yo, showing how well a stiff finish suits him when shooting home to win the Listed Beverley Bullet (5f, good; has form on soft) then not beaten far in the Group 1 Abbaye; has a similar profile to his sire Profitable who won this for the yard in 2016 and although never in the hunt on heavy ground at Bath last month he should come on for the run; looks very likely to do better as a 4yo.

Speedy front-runner from useful sprint family; didn't make debut until September when promising third to Squealer at York (about 5f, good); highly tried next time but showed bright speed to make all at Catterick on final start (soft); can come on for recent Thirsk reappearance fourth to Democracy Dilemma who had a fitness advantage; bold bid.

Has often made the running, so has the option of sticking to the far side (can be an advantage on slow ground), but it's hard to know where stall 1 leaves him otherwise; may need this anyway back from seven months off.

Came to hand early in 2022, winning two of her first three starts at 5f (both on good to firm); far from disgraced when eighth in the Group 2 Queen Mary at Royal Ascot after but is likely to find this on the sharp side back from a break and is having her first run on ground slower than good.

Sharp early 2yo who won two of her first three 5f starts on good and good to firm; had some stiff tasks after and was never involved on Chester reappearance, albeit she made late headway from an impossible position; hard to know whether she's worth her current mark but should stay 6f now.

Two turf wins as a juvenile, at about 5f on soft and good to soft; kept busy as 2yo, though, and needs to show he can cope with a highish mark after low-key return in April; first-time cheekpieces fitted.

On the go early in 2022 and made all over C&D (good to soft) at this meeting on third start; had plenty of racing since but better than ever when winning at Thirsk 18 days ago (5f) and that soft ground clearly suited well; up 5lb and has more to do this time but still one to consider.

Untroubled to win his first three handicaps and now only 1lb higher than for the last of those; hasn't looked in the same form since being gelded in February, although soft ground was perhaps no help at Chester and the tongue-tie he tried there is swiftly removed.

All races at about 5f on good or quicker; quite progressive 2yo, improving on York win in September (extended 5f, good) when following up at Beverley, then not far away in Group 3 Cornwallis at Newmarket; can do better in 2023 but lacks a run and hard to predict whether slow ground will suit.
