Took very well to chasing in early part of this season, winning three times on good ground (2m3f-2m4f) and losing out only narrowly in valuable Market Rasen handicap (2m5f, good); not in same form on either start since returning from a break in March but will be dangerous if back on song here.

Tailed off in Summer Plate at Market Rasen last month but soft ground was an obvious excuse; won this last year (good) and also on the scoresheet at Aintree (2m4f, good) in May; she's a player now back on better ground.

Lightly raced since her three chase wins in 2021, and was just a respectable third at Chepstow (2m3f, good to soft) last month; today's quicker ground ought to be in her favour but others appeal more all the same.

The winner of four handicap chases (2m3f-2m4f, good/good to soft) in 2021; fair third of four to Northern Bound at Newbury in November and outclassed in a Listed event four months ago when last seen; handicapper has given her a chance.

Yet to add to his Grade 2 novice win in November 2021 and regressed last season but took big step back in right direction when second in last month's Sussex Champion Chase at Plumpton (2m3f, soft) and ought to be much better suited by today's faster ground.

Not as good as he was over fences but remains capable of useful chase form; didn't really fire here last month but still looks interesting off his lower hurdle mark; best on good ground but handles soft.

Good-ground specialist who won five chases in spring/summer 2021 then reverted to hurdling to collect four wins last summer/autumn; shaped well at Cheltenham last month, after a break, and is a contender if that run has brought him on.

Fine strike-rate of 7-17 over fences; won two handicaps last summer (2m4f/3m) before struggling on his last couple of appearances; has been waiting for good ground but he was well beaten in this 12 months ago under suitable conditions on his return from a similar break.

Began year with two wins (2m/2m1f, good to soft) but was hit pretty hard by the handicapper for 17l romp on second occasion and was safely held off new mark when last in action; probably needs to bounce back with a career best on this first attempt at 2m4f.

Sole run here was in a bumper (runner-up); something of a bumpy road since he was sent over fences last term but he's now won three of his seven chases and left his five rivals 25l and more behind in handicap at Wetherby (2m3f, heavy) four weeks ago, impressing with his jumping once he went on at the fifth; 11lb higher today (3lb out of the handicap) in a much better race but has to be considered given the extreme ease of that win.

Seemingly revitalised by first-time cheekpieces when winning major handicap at Newbury (2m4f, good) in March; drew clear of the others with the runner-up there and is still on a good mark after a 4lb rise; major player if the headgear continues to have a positive effect.

Seemingly revived by first-time cheekpieces when narrow winner of valuable handicap chase at Newbury (2m4f, good) a year ago, but was pulled up in both subsequent chases and didn't fire when switched back to hurdling here in January (headgear absent, as today); needs to turn things around.

Quite useful hurdler/chaser in his prime but can't operate at that level now and although he was second at Ludlow (3m, soft) last time, that was ordinary form with the favourite underperforming; up against it.
