Improved towards the end of her time with Jim Bolger but produced a low-key effort on yard debut last month; wears first-time cheekpieces and the step back up in trip should help.

Fair form for Jim Bolger but not progressive; poor efforts for current yard last summer and can only be watched here on AW debut.

Ran twice at the Galway festival, gaining her second win of the season on her latest start when dropped back in trip to the extended mile; new mark makes life tougher but there could be more to come.

Enjoyed a terrific second half to last season, going up 21lb for four handicap wins from 1m to 1m4f before falling short at Listed level; also scored over hurdles during the winter; looks up against it here.

Four Flat wins (pretty useful form) in a row last August-October, on good ground and yielding; concluded a busy 2023 by justifying favouritism in 11-runner maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse (2m, heavy) in November, making most and rallying to deal with a fairly useful rival in clearcut style; trainer said that day that she would have a well-deserved rest and she's not been seen since; others have shown much better form in the interim but she's promising.

Form & Verdict

Was only beaten roughly 4l at Gowran second time; however, was outpaced when failing to build on that stepping up in trip in first-time cheekpieces (retained) at Down Royal since; plenty of stamina in the dam's side of her pedigree and this new trip could suit but no doubt she needs to improve to defy this opening mark.

Just about her best effort yet when beaten roughly 6l at the Curragh latest but more needed to defy this mark; wears first-time cheekpieces.

Came on from a promising handicap debut to win over 1m at Gowran from 7lb lower; was a close up fourth at Leopardstown prior to only beating one home at the Galway festival last time; her better runs have come on quicker ground.

Promise on AW for former yard and while he's produced lesser efforts on turf for his new connections, there's a chance he could improve for this new trip; fair mark on peak form.

Verdict

This can go the way of the handicap debutante KERMIYA who showed more at Killarney last time and looks leniently treated from this mark. Last time out winner Fratas could be the main danger if she can prove she’s as effective at this longer trip and Jazz Forever has come down to a good mark. [Phill Anderson]
