David Christie and Barry O’Neill are bidding to win this for the third year in a row. O’Neill’s mount GLOBAL ASSEMBLY, narrowly beaten by Grange Island at Clonmel in January, has a point-to-point run under his belt. That should be helpful, though his long-absent stablemate Ask D’Man boasts superior overall form and has the benefit of the very valuable 7lb claimed by Rob James. [Alan Sweetman]
