Royal Ascot Expert Tip

St James's Palace Stakes - KING OF COMEDY (8/1 with Bet365)

"Phoenix Of Spain sets the standard after his Irish 2000 Guineas win, but this mile division is open to a new kid on the block and I think it could be this John Gosden trained colt, who was really impressive in his dismissal of a good field in the Heron Stakes at Sandown. A quirky but hugely talented son of Kingman, I think he could be a star waiting to happen." - Kevin O'Malley, GG Racing Expert.

The Queen Anne Stakes is the highlight on day one at Royal Ascot, the best of the older milers battle it out on the famous Ascot straight track.

Wednesday 19th June

The Prince Of Wales Stakes; a Group One over one mile and two furlongs is the premier race on the Wednesday of Royal Ascot week. Won last year by Poet’s Word, defeating the mighty Cracksman.

Thursday 20th June

Champion stayer Stradivarius won the Ascot Gold Cup last year on Ladies Day, he’ll be back to defend his crown and it’ll take a good one to stop him.

Friday 21st June

It’s a battle for the highlight of the Friday with both the Coronation Stakes for the fillies and the Commonwealth Cup for the three-year-old sprinters proving to be super races year in year out.

Saturday 22nd June
