Won the last three of his five starts; this season they were 1m2f handicaps (good; unraced on firmer) at Sandown and Newbury, latterly in the London Gold Cup in which he travelled very strongly before squeezing through over 1f out and prevailing virtually on the nod against Sahara King, as the pair drew about 2l clear; these powerful owners have acquired both horses since; up 7lb but improving and capable of better.

Showed improved form when third of nine in a novice at Epsom (8.5f, good) in April and took another step forward on his handicap debut at Lingfield (7.5f) 20 days ago, coming from the back of the field to win a shade cosily; raised 6lb for that success but looks the type to continue to progress.

Dam French 1m2f-1m7f winner (including Group 3; 109); slowly into stride and looked clueless on his debut at Salisbury (1m2f, good; 8-1) last month, beating only one of his five rivals home; bred to be suited by this longer trip but a big step forward is required.

Failed to progress from his debut in novice/maiden company last year (all over 1m) and he never featured on his handicap debut/reappearance at Salisbury (1m2f, good; first start since being gelded) 27 days ago; better is needed now stepping up in trip with a hood applied.

25,000gns yearling, 50,000gns breeze-up 2yo; dam 1m-11.4f winner (including 2yo/Listed; RPR 109), half-sister to winners Distant Memories (1m2f Group 3) and Mohedian Lady (1m4f Listed), out of French 1m1f Listed winning half-sister to 1m4f Group 2 winner Ivan Luis; makes some appeal on breeding, but apprentice-ridden on debut and only considered if lively in the betting.
