Dave is a self-professed Cheltenham fanatic who is better known under his social alias Cheltmental. Dave prides himself on being transparent both with his betting and analysis is races. As a Data Analyst by trade plus many years of betting experience he wanted to share his learning with others which is where Cheltmental was born. Dave provides varied content from video previews to written blogs, all accompanied by the occasional dose satire. An avid racing fan for over 25 years, Dave had seen the benefits of year on year from an early age while spending the majority of his spare time greyhound racing with his Dad. Fast forward a decade, and Dave fell in love with National Hunt racing after attending his first Cheltenham Festival and spotted the same cyclical opportunities within the sport. Dave’s main focus is at the higher end of official ratings but can often find some nuggets at the lower levels when a horse might not yet have achieved their potential.
