Today’s Jockeys: Who’s Riding?

Our stats for jockeys focus on those who are riding in-form right now and only displays jockeys with rides today. Our Hot Jockeys table shows you the top jockeys in the last 14 days.

This does not just take into account the number of winners over a fortnightly spell. Some jockeys are simply busier than others, so as such, we make sure to filter by winning percentage in that time period, as a jockey with 10 winners from 30 rides is likely in better form than one with 10 winners from 50. This is the kind of statistic that separates the likes of Ryan Moore and William Buick from the rest.

You can browse the best jockeys riding today on this page and see the rides they have during the day to see if they can maintain their good form. Jockeys with one ride today is often a clue to the chances of that horse as punters generally believe that it must have a good chance if the jockey has taken the time and expense to travel to the racecourse for that single ride.

Up-and-Coming Jockeys to Look Out For

Here are our picks of the best emerging jockeys in the UK and Ireland but you can use our jockey stats above to get ahead of the pack in uncovering the best new jockey talent.

Freddie Gordon

Aged just 20, Freddie Gordon is enjoying a remarkable 2025/26 jumps season so far. The conditional rider is most closely affiliated with his father Chris’s runners, striking at a 33% clip for him since April and 32% across all of his rides. He has picked up a decent number for Nicky Henderson too, getting on the scoresheet on 50% of his rides for Seven Barrows as of the start of November. he leads the way in the conditional standings heading towards the new year.

Freddie Gingell

You would be in profit since April had you backed the rides of Freddie Gingell over hurdles, fences, or in bumpers such is the talent at his disposal. The main conditional at Paul Nicholls’ yard, he had significantly fewer rides in the summer months compared to Freddie Gordon, but has himself won at close to a 30% strike rate up to November. Given the strength in depth of the yard he works for, expect plenty more winners to arrive before the business end of the season.

Danny McMenamin

24-year-old Danny McMenamin was the champion conditional in 2021 and has been affiliated with Nicky Richards’ yard since his debut riding. This season, he reached 25 winners by mid-November to sit within the top ten in the race to be champion jockey, and although that ensured he was still trailing the unstoppable Sean Bowen by a large number, McMenamin’s strike rate and increasing stature should ensure he is a name to follow over the next few years.

Jack Tudor

23-year-old Jack Tudor is the stable jockey for Christian Williams in Wales and has already won the country’s flagship race when landing the Welsh National at the age of just 18 on Potters Corner. Tudor also has a 14% strike rate in Graded races, which is impressive for a jockey of his experience and away from the biggest yards. Whenever he rides on a Saturday, he is worth watching out for.

Lilly Pinchin

A particularly proficient rider over fences, Lilly Pinchin has improved her strike rate significantly so far in 2025/26. Up to November, she had a 30% winning rate over fences, as well as 26% success rate for Charlie Longsdon, the yard she rides mot for. She is the leading female jockey in the National Hunt Jockeys championship and is likely to remain so until the end of the campaign.
