Racecourse Guide
Home to the Grand National, Aintree is one of the top National Hunt venues in the circuit. Despite various modifications to the National Course, the race still offers the ultimate challenge to both horse and rider and attracts a massive worldwide audience. Fences the like of Becher’s Brook, The Chair and The Canal Turn have helped to capture the public’s imagination of the race and have become household names in their own right. The Mildmay Course stages all but four of Aintree’s races and is a flat track with two long straights. It is imperative horses are fast and accurate at their obstacles at both courses.
Dining, Hospitality & Facilities
For a finer, premium experience there are plenty of hospitality options available. There are a trio of restaurant options to choose from – Classic, Premier and VIP. Each restaurant offers a minimum two course meal,a private table for the day with table service, VIP Parking and Premier Course Admission.
If you’re part of a bigger group and are looking for a bit more privacy the racecourse also offers private boxes for hire. There are two different options to choose from (Premier and VIP), with prices starting from £162 per person. Each box includes a minimum three course meal, tea and coffee plus a private balcony overlooking the racecourse.

The Effect of the Draw
With Aintree being a National Hunt racecourse, there are no stalls so there is no draw bias. However, it’s worth noting that although Aintree is a flat course, it can be testing so you need a horse that can travel.
