Brazil vs Morocco Betting Tips: Predictions for Group C clash on Saturday 13 June

Five-time World Cup champions Brazil will make their North America bow on Saturday 13th June, as they face Morocco in an intriguing Group C match at 11pm. Carlo Ancelotti’s side will head into the tournament looking to win the tournament for the first time since 2002 and they will be one of the fancied contenders.

However, they face a Morocco side that were victorious in the African Cup Of Nations – albeit they were awarded victory in controversial circumstances. Nevertheless, Morocco are a talented team in their own right and they will relish the chance to get stuck into Brazil in their first match.

Our in-house tipster Steve Chambers previews the match, which will be played at the MetLife Stadium, and he picks out his best bets, as well as looking at all the odds.

Brazil are favourites to take all three points against Morocco, but the African side will be hoping they can shock the Selecao on Saturday night. Check out all the Brazil vs Morocco match odds below…

Brazil vs Morocco Tips & Predictions

Brazil do have a real abundance of talent within their ranks, but the South American heavyweights have shown significant frailties in defence, so they will need to outscore Morocco here.

They will have the likes of Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jnr spearheading the attack and he will be one of the glowing lights of this World Cup. However, in six of their last seven matches Brazil have been involved in games that have seen both teams scoring. So, with that in mind the 3/1 about a Brazil win and both teams scoring looks the way to go.

Morocco’s star attacking threat is Brahim Diaz, who plays his club football with the abovementioned Vinicius Jnr at Real Madrid. He may have missed a vital penalty in the AFCON final, but he’s still a very tricky player to get hold of and he likes a shot. If Brazil do show fragility in defence then he’s a man to watch and the Evens for him to get a shot on target looks more than fair. For those that fancy a more attractive bet then take a chance on Diaz having Over 1.5 shots on target, which is available at 11/2.

Brazil should just edge this contest, with their class prevailing. The 17/2 available with some firms for a Brazil 2-1 win looks the way to go in what should be a cracking contest.

Brazil vs Morocco Head-To-Head

Brazil and Morocco have only clashed twice in their history, with their first meeting coming in the 1998 World Cup in France. A dominant 3-0 victory for the South America side was the catalyst for them reaching the final that year.

More recently they did battle in a friendly in 2023, where Morocco claimed an historic 2-1 victory. So, with one win apiece in their meetings then who will come out on top on Saturday evening?

Brazil vs Morocco World Cup Record

When you think of the World Cup you think of Brazil. With five victories in the event they are the most successful nation in the history of the tournament. However, it’s been over two decades since they’ve held aloft the iconic trophy, so will be desperate to reign once again.

Morocco are an improving nation and at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar they claimed their highest ever finish when grabbing fourth spot. Continuously on the upgrade, they will be looking to build on those efforts at the 2026 version.
