Billy has bundles of experience writing about racing, predominantly during his time as editor at HorseRacing.net. A Journalism graduate from De Montfort University, Billy spent time honing his writing craft as a marketing assistant before embarking on his racing writing career in 2020. A keen sports bettor and racing fan since hitting legal age who is never afraid to take on a short priced favourite, he has over a decade of experience studying the formbook and can often be found listening to a racing podcast or watching race replays of the day's action to try and find some eye-catchers.
