Many of the horses who starred in the 2023 edition of the Cheltenham Festival will return to Prestbury Park on various Cheltenham festival dates along with a whole host of newcomers looking to thrust their names into the headlines.

Which is the best day of the Cheltenham Festival
The best day of the Cheltenham Festival is completely subjective depending on the races you enjoy most. The atmosphere is usually different day by day as well.
The Tuesday often has a feverish atmosphere before the off. It is Champion Day, with the highlight being the Champion Hurdle. That said, the “Cheltenham Roar” accompanies the opening Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, which seems to get louder every year.
Wednesday is Ladies’ Day, ensuring that Cheltenham is bathed in an extra glamorous glow. Fittingly, the Queen Mother Champion Chase is the highlight, and we could see a new winner of the race this year with 2022 + 2023 winner Energumene set to miss out this year due to injury.
For colour and vibrancy, St Patrick’s Thursday is always a tremendous occasion. The Irish descend in their masses throughout the week, but Cheltenham becomes even more of a carnival of celebration on the Thursday. Two championship races take place on this day too, in the Ryanair Chase and the Stayers’ Hurdle.
Finally, there is Gold Cup Day. For many racing fans, there will never be a day that matches up to the Friday at Cheltenham. The big race, the Cheltenham Gold Cup, takes place in the middle of the card. Steeped in history, the atmosphere reaches a particular fever pitch in the minutes before the off. There is always a good party after the final race, the Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle, concludes too!
