Queen Mother Champion Chase Betting News

Majborough beat last year’s Champion Chase hero Marine Nationale in the Dublin Chase at Leopardstown at the Dublin Racing Festival and has soared to the head of the betting. With Marine Nationale out of Cheltenham then the Willie Mullins-trained Majborough is a hot favourite. Il Etait Temps was beaten by Jonbon in the Clarence House Chase at Ascot and will look to get back to form here. L’Eau Du Sud, who has some great form on his CV and lines up for Dan Skelton, whilst Quilixios fell in the race last year, but could return to try and make amends.

Betting on the Queen Mother Champion Chase

The Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham is one of the most thrilling spectacles of the Festival meeting and is hugely popular with punters. It can often see a small field head to the 2m start, but the Grade 1 has always attracted some top class performers, so you can get some decent odds on classy horses.

It may not be the best each-way race for punters, but it’s a betting heat that can see wild fluctuations throughout the season, and it’s certainly a race that punters enjoy betting in.
