France are clear favourites for the World Cup ahead of Thursday evening’s quarter-final with Morocco, which will be played in Boston at 9pm. Kylian Mbappe has inspired Les Bleus so far in this tournament and the Real Madrid superstar will be looking to net once again against a Morocco side that have been hugely impressive this tournament.

France v Morocco Match Odds
France are clear odds-on favourites to win the match in 90 minutes, with Les Bleus around the 4/7 mark. Morocco continue to blossom in the tournament, but are around the 5/1 mark to cause a shock. The draw could appeal to some punters at 3/1.
France v Morocco Tips & Predictions
Free-scoring through the early part of the World Cup, France had to work hard for a 1-0 win over Paraguay in the last-16, but they will come up against a Morocco side who steamrollered Canada 3-0 in their last match. The African side are sure to try and put pressure on France, so there will be more openings on the counter-attack for the French.
With a real sumptuous attacking line-up spearheaded by the delightful duo of Mbappe and Michael Olise, the French could dominate the game from the outset and inflict misery on Morocco. Whilst the French have been peerless in attack they have shown frailties at times in defence, so the standout bet is for France to win and both teams to score at 11/4.
You can spend an age trying to find value in the first goalscorer market, but you have to side with Kylian Mbappe, who has already scored seven times so far. He’s available at 100/30, which looks more than fair with several bookmakers.
Achraf Hakimi will be tasked with trying to keep Mbappe quiet and the former PSG teammates could have plenty of tussles. The 4/1 for Hakimi to commit over 2.5 fouls in the game is a decent side selection.
France v Morocco Tips
France to win & both teams to score @ 11/4
Kylian Mbappe to score first @ 100/30
Achraf Hakimi Over 2.5 fouls @ 4/1
France v Morocco Head-To-Head
France and Morocco have played each other five times, with France claiming three wins and the other two matches ending in a draw. The two teams fought it out at the last World Cup with France running out comfortable 2-0 winners. Goals from Theo Hernandez and Randal Kolo Muani secured the French their place in the World Cup final, and there’s equally as big stakes on Thursday.
