Cork Race Results
You can also view all the latest results from previous meetings at Cork. Looking at previous results can prove informative, for example you might find that a certain jockey has a knack for riding winners when racing at Cork.
One of Ireland's busier tracks, Cork racecourse has around twenty fixtures a year covering both flat and national hunt cards. Situated near Mallow, it is a popular venue within the horse racing community and is known to be a fair test for any horse. Formerly known as "Mallow" racecourse, it was established in 1924 but as is the case in many parts of Ireland, racing has held in the vicinity for hundreds of years. It is a flat, right-handed course of 1m 4f in length and also has a flat 6f track.
Dining, Hospitality & Facilities
For a finer, premium experience there are two options available at Cork - the Premium Level package and the Restaurant Package. The Premium Level Package offers ‘the best views in the house’, with panoramic views of the racecourse from the 3rd floor premium level, as well as a racecard included in the package. The Restaurant Package includes a table for the day situated in the top floor of the Grand Stand, with a four course meal, along with full bar and tote facilities, as well as a viewing balcony overlooking the track.
There is only one general admission option for tickets at Cork, but there is a social package available, which includes:
- €5 Tote Voucher
- €5 Food Voucher
- Pint voucher
The Effect of the Draw
There is no real draw bias over the shorter trips (5f + 6f), but over 7f there is a strong bias with those drawn higher having an advantage. This is a similar case for trips between 1m - 1m 2f. Over trips of 1m 4f + there is no real bias.
