Today's Naas Tips, Racecards And Results
Naas results — 4 July 2026
Yesterday at Naas (4 July 2026) the going read GOOD (Good to firm in places; watered) and produced several notable performances. Joseph Patrick O’Brien enjoyed a productive afternoon with three winners (Dancing Destiny, Mai Dahlia and Rodeo Blues) and further placed runners, while W J Lee rode a brace of winners in Concorde Landed and Keke. Carry The Flag took the Listed Coolmore Stud Blackbeard Tipperary Stakes and Concorde Landed impressed in the fillies’ maiden. There were a few non-runners and withdrawals noted in the cards (for example Arizonaneargalway and Cedrela), and reserves were used in the handicap later in the day.

Naas Race Results
Naas is situated in Kildare, right in the heart of Ireland’s racing scene, and stages 15 meetings per year with a mixture of flat and jumps. The biggest race at Naas is the Lawlor’s of Naas Novice Hurdle in January which became the first Grade 1 event staged at this venue in 2015. There are two Grade 2 races at the February meeting; the Newlands Chase and the Johnstown Novice Hurdle, both over two miles.
Other feature races at Naas include the Limestone Lad Hurdle in January, the Poplar Square Chase in October/November and the Fishery Lane Hurdle in November. The top races on the flat are the Group 3 Blue Wind Stakes in May and the Listed Fillies’ Sprint Stakes in June. The most valuable race at Naas is the 100,000 euro Goffs Sportsman’s Challenge for two-year-olds. The course also hosts summer BBQ evenings and family fun days.
You can get the latest Naas race results by clicking on Today’s Results & Racecards from the dropdown menu. This page is continually updated with one of the fastest results services in the business. Racecourse Guide
Naas is a left-handed, undulating track of a mile and a half with a stiff uphill climb to the finish. There is a straight six furlongs and a chute on the round course for mile races. The sprint track was levelled a few year’s ago so it is not as undulating as the round course.
The chase course is on the outside of the hurdles track with eight fences to a circuit. The fences are quite testing and Naas certainly puts the emphasis on stamina in soft or heavy ground. This is a popular course which consistently attracts high quality horses. Champions to grace the turf over jumps here include Arkle, Imperial Call and Doran’s Pride.
Dining, Hospitality & Facilities
There are a variety of hospitality packages to suit all requirements and budgets at Naas. The Panoramic Restaurant caters for a table for two up to large group bookings. It is sited on the first floor of the Grandstand overlooking the racing action. Your booking includes a three course meal with speciality coffee and tea and a dedicated waiter service.
Naas also offer private suites which provide comfort and luxury to make the most of your day at the races. The suites are on the second floor of the Grandstand and can cater for groups of 10 up to 80 guests. All private suites have a balcony view overlooking the racecourse.
There are regular trains from Dublin (Heuston) to Sallins Station which is just outside Naas. The Racecourse provides a shuttle bus on all weekend race days to and from Sallins Train Station.
Tickets
You can book your Naas general admission tickets online with a generous 6 euro discount for seniors and students. There is also a Golden Ticket which includes a 5 euro bet, 5 euro drinks voucher and 10 euro food voucher.
The Effect of the Draw
A low draw is slightly favoured at Naas in races on the round track between seven furlongs and ten furlongs. The draw is only really a factor on the straight six furlong track in soft ground when high numbers have an advantage with runners seeking the better ground under the stands’ side rail.
