Betting Forecast

10/1 Daaris, 12/1 Shopaholic, 5/1 Into Combat, 16/1 Hill Station, 4/1 Three Yorkshiremen, 7/2 Beaune, 16/1 One Million Dreams, 3/1 Zaraquelle, 33/1 Fighting Poet, 16/1 The Pug, 66/1 Freewheelin

Verdict

A Polytrack winner under Jessica Llewellyn early in the year before two wins here in April, BEAUNE has been found a weak-looking handicap following a better effort on turf. It’s fair to assume Into Combat (second choice) is felt capable of better than he’s shown to date and much will depend on the new trip under Eireann Cagney. Similarly Zaraquelle has stamina to prove, while Three Yorkshiremen, who landed a gamble here last autumn, is back on a fair mark for another new trainer.[Graham Wheldon]
