Made it 4-5 when making all on handicap debut at Lingfield (2m3f, soft) in January; second in Ascot novice (2m3f, good to soft) since and that form has been franked by the winner, who was receiving 8lb; the first-time hood may be a plus (fractious pre-race last time); could be on a good mark now back in a handicap and he's open to further improvement for top trainer.

Beat good horses in his bumpers and made a successful hurdling debut at Aintree (2m4f, good to soft) despite taking a fierce hold; rather disappointing on this course next time but got firmly back on track with an all-the-way success in a Lingfield handicap (2m3f, soft) last month; should continue on the upgrade and commands major respect.

Beat good horses in his bumpers and made a successful hurdling debut at Aintree (2m4f, good to soft) despite taking a fierce hold in a slowly run race; settled better in front at Ascot (1m7f, good) but they only dawdled around and he was outpaced when it mattered; this would be a better trip for one entered in the 3m Grade 1 novice at Cheltenham; interesting handicap debutant.
