Glorious Goodwood Day 1 Meeting Details
The 2025 Glorious Goodwood festival kicks off with an excellent day 1 card that is set to showcase eight races. The Goodwood Festival 2025 results on day 1 will include races such as the Lennox Stakes, and the day’s feature Goodwood Cup, a race that promises to be an enthralling clash.

Glorious Goodwood Day 2 Meeting Details
Glorious Goodwood continues onto day 2 where we have a card that centres firmly around the Group 1 Sussex Stakes. Run over a mile, the Sussex Stakes has produced an illustrious roll of honour which, in recent years, includes the likes of Frankel, Kingman and Paddington. The Goodwood races results 2025 for day 2 also feature the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes, which is a fast and furious 5f contest for juveniles.
Glorious Goodwood Day 3 Meeting Details
Glorious Goodwood reaches the halfway point on Wednesday, day 3, with an excellent card that is headlined by the Group 1 Nassau Stakes. Run over 1m2f this, much like the Sussex Stakes, often produces a real clash of the generations and we are likely to have just that in 2025. The Nassau is far from the only race from the Goodwood results 2025 today to focus on, however, with a supporting cast including the likes of the Group 3 Gordon Stakes and the Group 2 Richmond Stakes, often very informative affairs with the future in mind.
Glorious Goodwood Day 4 Meeting Details
Glorious Goodwood may now be more than halfway finished, but day 4 punters are treated by not one, but two feature races. First up, the Golden Mile takes place and this valuable handicap is often a race that punters latch onto. A glance at recent Goodwood results in the Golden Mile shows well punted winners like Prompting (2020, 3/1F), Seniority (2018, 9/2J) and Franklin D (2016, 7/4F). Directly preceding this contest is the day’s other feature, the King George Stakes. This 5f Group 2 often attracts a competitive field, albeit recent Glorious Goodwood results in the King George show that Battaash was a four-time winner (three times at odds-on) before relinquishing his crown in 2021. This year’s King George looks a more open renewal and it’ll be fascinating to see if a new name can burst onto the sprinting scene here.
Glorious Goodwood Day 5 Meeting Details
Glorious Goodwood concludes on day 5 with a fantastic seven-race card that includes the Stewards’ Cup, traditionally seen as one of the biggest races for betting turnover in the horse racing calendar. Recent Goodwood festival results in the Stewards’ Cup have seen a real spread of winning prices in recent renewals, with three favourites, and four horses priced 20/1+, winning in the last eight years. Will the market get this right, or will the Goodwood 2025 results include another big-priced winner of the Stewards’ Cup? Goodwood festival 2025 results for day 5 also include races such as the Group 2 Lillie Langtry and the 1m6f Summer Handicap.
