    Verdict

    It is noteworthy, and probably significant, that SEVEN ARMY NATION was given three qualifying runs in very quick succession in May. The stable has a wealth of trial tackle with which to assess nursery types, and he may improve from a gelding procedure. Lars Soldier has run in good company and merits respect as the only previous winner in the field. Tradewinds and Lucy’s Promise are also quite appealing. [Alan Sweetman]
