60-rated on the Flat; won the first juvenile hurdle of the season at Hexham (2m, good; 3-1) last Saturday, a race which also featured Cracking Anna (fourth) and Steel Fixer (pulled up); should confirm his superiority over those rivals despite the incurred 7lb penalty.

Made progress - at his own rate - on the Flat, seeming to handle the extra yardage when fifth of nine on handicap debut at Nottingham (1m2f, good; 14-1) in April; bit to find with Sudbury Hill on Flat figures, but it would be foolhardy to dismiss a Skelton-trained jumps newcomer.

The form of his latest seventh of eight at Southwell (7f) has taken some knocks and he was never the slightest threat in a steadily run affair; did plug on though and he could prove a different proposition now up in trip for his handicap debut; Dan Skelton still seeking a first Flat winner but that is unlikely to remain the case for long and Rossa Ryan has been booked; one to consider.

40,000gns breeze-up 2yo who is with a top jumps yard; well beaten at Pontefract (6f, good to soft) and Newbury (6.5f, soft) last autumn, which is low-level form but this looks a weak contest.

40,000gns breeze-up 2yo who is from a top jumps yard; however, well-beaten fifth of six at 25-1 on last month's debut at Pontefract (6f, good to soft) and he's probably best watched for now.
