9st 2lb

J: Jim Crowley

T: Owen Burrows

Winless as 2yo but he didn't lack for heart when a persevering fourth of seven to Ancient Wisdom in the Group 1 Futurity (1m, heavy) in October on first run for this yard and the switch to good ground did not stop him when he won a minor 1m2f Windsor novice on reappearance; should improve as a 3yo but probably not quickly enough to play a part this time; first-time cheekpieces fitted.

8st 13lb

J: Jim Crowley

Promise in his first two starts before getting turned over at 1-5 in a four-runner novice at Chelmsford last September (1m2f); excelled himself when fourth of seven in the Group 1 Futurity at Doncaster (1m, heavy) on his stable debut in October, staying on late; debatable whether he has as much in hand of Castle In The Sand as BHA ratings imply but he's capable of better at this trip and looks the one to beat; untried on quicker than good to soft but his dam's best turf form came on good to firm.

Showed ability in defeat in maiden/novice races on his three runs for Charlie Johnston but a transformation is required to make an impact now upped sharply in grade on his stable debut.

Group 1-entered colt who ran to useful level when third in good 1m maidens at Sandown (good) and Doncaster (soft); moves up in trip for AW debut; winning a race of this nature ought to be a formality.
