Won the 3m6f cross-country at Cheltenham Festival in 2022 (heavy) and 2023 (soft); the 2022 Grand National was not his best round of jumping but he challenged for the lead two out before finishing a tired, 22l third; unseated mid-race in it last year; below form this term but Cheltenham last month should have been much more instructive and his race was abandoned; blinkers now replace cheekpieces; only 3lb lower than in this two years ago but he can't be dismissed.

Multiple Grade 1 winner who has landed the last two runnings of this race (heavy/soft); this 11yo hasn't been at his best this term, including over C&D, but Gordon Elliott is a dab hand when it comes to horses hitting peak form at the Festival; first-time blinkers replace cheekpieces; key player.

Has won the 3m6f cross-country race at the last two Festivals, last season proving too strong for Galvin off level weights; unseated mid-race in the Grand National on his next start when still moving well; below par last month at Punchestown but tends to be rusty on his first run after an absence and he'll be sharper all round this time; massive shout despite managing only third in this last season when just 1lb higher.
