Eyecatching effort in a Listed race on hurdling debut and went on to win her next two, with Bluey and Metkayina among her victims; carried plenty of stable confidence in the Grade 2 for mares here in March but after momentarily threatening she faded away disappointingly; has a penalty back at Listed level and now has to prove that she doesn't need flat tracks; still much respected over a new trip she's bred to stay.
Form: 432
OR: 110
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Point-to-point bumper winner; has run respectably in two novice hurdles for mares but couldn't win either and this is much harder.
Form: -4121P
OR: 124
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 6 yo Mare
A front-runner who has won two minor races but was perhaps flattered to finish within 2l of Jubilee Alpha at Windsor in January and she was pulled up in a Grade 2 here at the Festival; she'll stay okay but may come up short.
Form: 12530
OR: 119
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Jubilee Alpha has her number on previous clashes, including here in March when the Nicholls mare was below her best; up against it at these weights.
Form: 2-2122
OR: 123
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Consistent since arriving from France but has only managed to win a Huntingdon maiden and her second in a Newbury handicap last time (2m4f, good; first-time cheekpieces) is no shining advert for her prospects here, with the winner of that race previously beaten by Jubilee Alpha and Bluey.
Form: 2212 D
OR: 115
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Consistent and smart on the Flat at up to 2m and was recruited for 100,000gns; not yet out of the first two over hurdles, last time keeping on for second in a Listed race over 3m at Doncaster; these terms are very tough, however.
Form: 231
OR: 130
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 7 yo Mare
Hooded throughout; second to The Great Nudie in November when making her debut; made all for a comfortable maiden success at Limerick (2m, heavy; tongue-tie added but now absent) and runs here in preference to a Grade 1 engagement this weekend at Fairyhouse; dangerously unexposed for her top yard.
Form: 472
OR: —
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Irish point winner (on heavy) who joined new connections for £120,000; beaten in three bumpers and had the run of things up front when second at Warwick (good), though that form was franked with the winner finishing second in a Grade 2 at Aintree; this is no easy starter over hurdles, however.
Form: 0F69F1
OR: 127
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 6 yo Filly
Finished behind Jubilee Alpha and Metkayina in the mares' bumper at last season's Grand National meeting; made a rocky start over hurdles (fell twice) but could have turned a corner after winning a Wexford maiden (2m, good to yielding) that should have done her confidence some good; bred for this far and not ruled out.
Form: 415126 D
OR: 130
W: 11st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Won a point on good ground but heavy has been in the description for both her hurdle wins (2m5f/2m3f); couldn't live with Supreme runner-up William Munny two runs back but a greater concern would be her rather tame finish at Limerick, albeit in a Grade 3; rain would be welcomed.

Verdict
Returned to Listed level, JUBILEE ALPHA has to carry a penalty and bounce back from her underwhelming run at the Cheltenham Festival, but a lot better was expected of her last month and she remains a smart prospect. Sainte Tartare is the unknown quantity and Willie Mullins did have her in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse this weekend. Metkayina has strong claims on her fifth here last month and a back-to-form The Great Nudie would be dangerous.[Alistair Jones]
