Off for nearly a year before pulling up on chase debut (jumped poorly) and when reverting to hurdles in March but subsequent efforts back on good ground yielded two wins at around this trip and he didn't run badly off this mark when third in May; needs to cut out the mistakes reverting to fences but interesting back from a break.

Winner and a close second in first two handicaps last spring; pulled up in first two starts after 11 months off but he turned things round with a narrow win at Warwick (2m3f, good) which would have been more emphatic with cleaner jumps at the last two; bold bid likely despite 4lb rise.

Progressive last season when first and second in his opening two handicaps; pulled up over fences on his return and suffered the same fate back hurdling here last month; on a useful mark if he can get back on track but reservations for now.

Won on handicap debut at Carlisle (2m1f, soft) a year ago and probably bettered than performance when clear second under a penalty at Chepstow (2m, soft) soon afterwards; seen only once this season, when very disappointing favourite on last month's chasing debut (jumped poorly and was pulled up), but is unexposed over this sort of trip and remains of strong interest.
