Gained a first win over fences at Haydock (3m4f, good to soft) in March and posted a solid fifth off a 6lb higher mark there (good) last month; possibilities.

Sent chasing this season and has been inconsistent (made a respiratory noise on penultimate start) but it looks as if he is best away from soft/heavy ground and won in clearcut fashion in a five-runner C&D race (good to soft) six weeks ago; 6lb higher today but 5lb claimer is recruited and he has more to offer as a stayer.

A fairly useful winning hurdler who advanced his form on just his second run in this sphere when runner-up in 3m Doncaster handicap in December; pulled up in similar event there (reportedly made a respiratory noise) following month though so needs to bounce back.

Possibly ground dependent, having shown best British form on good; otherwise an interesting contender, having performed well over C&D most recently (only his second chase attempt).

Soundly beaten on chase debut at Bangor (3m, heavy), following a break, but the going may not have been ideal for this two-time, good-ground novice hurdle winner; only five and retains potential for last year's winning yard.
