Runner-up in last season's Champion Bumper here and ran away with C&D novice in February; unable to justify market confidence in Supreme Novices' however, reportedly never really travelling when only eighth behind Slade Steel, fading tamely from the last; questions to answer on the back of that Cheltenham effort but clearly held in some regard and could bounce back. |

Overall record is 4-6 and he appears to handle any ground; good second in Grade 1 bumper at Punchestown last April; jumping lacked fluency when turned over at very short odds there on debut over hurdles but he has posted two impressive all-the-way wins (over 2m) since, latest in Listed event at same venue; earlier form suggests he doesn't need to dominate; one of the main contenders back at the top level. |

Runner-up in the Grade 1 Champion Bumper here last season; unexpected reverse in a maiden hurdle here in November but made up for that with a very easy success at Naas last month; Supreme Novices entry and one of the ones to beat here. |
