Added to his very good AW record with a stylish win in a Listed race at Kempton (1m2f) in April but he wasn't in quite the same form when fourth (Phantom Flight third) in the Brigadier Gerard at Sandown since and there are doubts as to whether he's still as effective on turf as AW; also has a 3lb penalty for the Kempton win. |

Trained last year by Ralph Beckett, favourite when below form in the 1m1f Cambridgeshire on final outing (also below form on sole run on good to firm); made his stable/hurdles debut in March, in the Triumph at Cheltenham no less, but belied odds of 100-1 to win by a neck; second at Punchestown in May (despite racing freely) confirmed his high standing in that sphere, so he's a high-profile candidate for this return to Flat, over a very new Flat trip but his trainer usually picks the right ones for these races. |

Justify colt who was a 2,300,000euros breeze-up purchase as a 2yo; raced only on good/firmer and was a late withdrawal from the Derby this month as the surface was deemed not fast enough; record of 3-4 includes two emphatic wins; held on by half a length from Field Of Gold in the 2,000 Guineas most recently, having got first run on that rival; improving sharply and, with his ceiling probably not yet reached, commands major respect in the rematch. |

Fairly undistinguished sprint form, nearly all on testing surfaces, in France but when she did find herself on officially good ground, in a Listed 5f race at Chantilly last June, she won in some style; has raised her profile since moving to Britain, winning a Group 3 at Longchamp and dashing home to land a Group 2 at Haydock (5f, good; unraced on good to firm) in May; has a bit to find in form terms but she's at the top of her game and may go higher yet. |

An unbeaten son of Wootton Bassett with course experience, having given weight and a beating to subsequent winners over 5f here (good to firm) last time; his powerful yard's chosen one for this, but the nagging concern is that his final furlong of that last race wasn't his best and he's up to 6f this time. |
