Very close fourth in valuable final here (7f, good) last October on last 2yo start and reappeared with second of 13 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good); had an excuse (stumbled leaving the stalls) when down the field at Newmarket last time and has been gelded since; possible player.

Won twice on AW last year but he took his form to a new level when fourth of 14 in a York sales race last October (7f, good); lumped up 11lb for that but showed there was no fluke about the performance by finishing second in a C&D handicap on his reappearance 16 days ago (behind Sovereign Spell); didn't look in love with the track on that occasion but he is on an upward path and remains unexposed as a sprinter; 4lb rise demands more though.

Appeared to run well in valuable prize at York (7f) on final 2yo start but an 11lb rise in his mark doesn't help in this ongoing bid for a first turf success; 2-2 on AW, both performances at Newcastle (6f/7f).

Made it 2-2 at Newcastle and 2-4 overall when winning 7f nursery there last Thursday; has also shown promise on turf; however, he needs another step forward if he's to come out on top on these terms.

Good start when second at Redcar (5f) in May and justified solid support when landing a 13-runner course novice (6f) at the start of August; 16-1 for big Irish sales race but got no chance to show what he could do through the majority of that event 18 days ago; will be unlucky to suffer the same fate here; interesting on handicap debut.
