soon led, clear halfway, pushed along home turn, ridden from 1f out, kept on well (stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form; trainer's rep said his charge was disappointing on the last run and further added that today's lower-class race on a tighter track had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form; when questioned on the market support he said that the confidence in the market did not come from the yard; evidence was also heard from Mr. Gary O'Gorman, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Senior Rules of Racing Handicapper, who outlined the animals previous run and felt that today's performance represented a significant improvement, which he felt was in the region of twenty pounds; having considered the matter, the stewards noted the explanation offered in relation to the improvement form; they were however satisfied that the trainer was in breach of Rule 147(v) (failure to lodge the appropriate authorisation form appointing an Authorised Representative) and fined William Harvey 130 euros through his representative)
