Comfortably justified favouritism in Leopardstown handicap (1m2f, heavy) in April and front-running third in the London Gold Cup at Newbury (1m2f, good) in May; second favourite, looked set for further improvement trying 1m4f at Royal Ascot (good to firm) but failed to find it, racing wide and persistently hanging right up the straight; that was still a respectable run and he's of interest back at 1m2f on forecast slow ground.
