Form: 0609-9
OR: 65
W: 9st 9lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Won 6f maiden at Navan as 2yo; promising yard debut over 6f on this track in February 2025 but he's mostly struggled since, thus the drop of 24lb in the weights since racing in Britain; should come on for his April reappearance and is one to keep an eye on for signs of a revival.
Form: 409177 D
OR: 63
W: 9st 7lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Three 7f wins on AW elsewhere, most recently at Southwell in April; a quick return didn't pay off there next time and he was always behind when returned to turf at Leicester last month; has run well over C&D in the past, though, so he may be more himself this time.
Form: 100090 D
OR: 63
W: 9st 7lb
Age: 11 yo Gelding
Tremendous win record on AW, successful 16 times; however, the last 11 have been at Wolverhampton and he's gone off the boil since winning two in a row there (7f) at the start of the year; has it to prove in first Polytrack run for over a year.

Form: 525461 D

W: 9st 6lb
Age: 4 yo Colt
Has done most of his AW racing on Wolverhampton Tapeta but he's run his two best races on Kempton Polytrack (7f), going close in February and breaking his duck last month; back up 4lb; a likely contender on course debut.
Form: -74541 CD
OR: 61
W: 9st 5lb
Age: 8 yo Gelding
Three C&D wins but perhaps even more effective on Tapeta; had the benefit of Jack Callan's claim when successful at Wolverhampton (7f) last month and although back up 3lb he's perfectly capable of finding another race off this mark.
Form: 461400 CD
OR: 61
W: 9st 5lb
Age: 8 yo Gelding
Won at 6f and over C&D for James Owen at the start of the year, then over 1m here on yard debut in March, but his last three runs have been nothing like as good; has plenty to prove back at 7f.
Form: 4-4316 CD
OR: 59
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Two 7f handicap wins on the AW, the latest over C&D in April under Charlie Tucker, but he was disappointing on the turf track here (7f) since, given that he's handled that test in the past; shade to prove this time.
Form: 426161 D
OR: 59
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Won two of last three at Southwell (7f) since these aids were fitted, a steady late surge taking him to the front close home 14 days ago; acts on Polytrack, too, but plenty needs to go right today from a wide draw.
Form: 54-050 D
OR: 58
W: 9st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
All four wins from the front on turf, over 7f in 2024 and twice over 1m at Newmarket last summer; 0-9 on AW but he handles this surface and is not a forlorn hope on the return to 7f.
Form: 4236-7
OR: 57
W: 9st 1lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Signs of ability over 7f on Newcastle Tapeta but failed to stay 1m on handicap debut at Wetherby in April 2025; wasn't seen again until well beaten on Kempton AW (6f) in March for new yard, where he bled from the nose; best watched for now.
Form: 690882 DBF
OR: 54
W: 8st 12lb
Age: 4 yo Colt
Three 7f wins on Polytrack and Tapeta between April and June in 2025 for this yard; right out of luck for different trainers from November onwards but he fell a long way in the weights and shot home to take a late second at Southwell (7f) 14 days ago; should make hay off current mark, 6lb lower than latest win, if overcoming a wide draw.

Often leads; tight between him and Francisco on C&D form in April but he couldn't hold his place on the turf track here since and this looks competitive, especially with others in the field who like to lead.

Betting Forecast

14/1 Majestic Wave, 12/1 Enpassant, 33/1 Harbour Vision, 7/2 Yehudi, 5/1 Split Elevens, 25/1 Secret Road, 8/1 Francisco, 13/2 Fort Augustus, 12/1 Dashing Donkey, 33/1 Oberon Hill, 3/1 Adelaide Bay, 14/1 Twitch

Verdict

This looks competitive but perhaps YEHUDI (nap), on his course debut, will confirm himself a Polytrack specialist on just his third run on the surface, having got off the mark at Kempton recently. Adelaide Bay can surely make a sizeable weights drop pay at some stage and he can be next best, ahead of recent winners Split Elevens, Fort Augustus and Francisco.[Emily Weber]
