Emphatic winner of handicap debut on Southwell AW (6f) in March; found Group 3 and Listed races too daunting on next two starts and he made only modest late headway into mid-division over 5f at Royal Ascot (40-1; without regular hood, as today); return to 6f should suit but the same applies to others from that race.

Useful 2yo and took his form to a new level with an emphatic win at Southwell (6f, AW) in March; a refusal to settle has compromised him in Group 3/Listed events on his last two starts but this mark is surely in range judged on that Southwell win and he is interesting now dropped to 5f for the first time; hooded every time except today.

Talented, albeit is a shade quirky, and made a mockery of his mark in Southwell handicap (6f, AW) on reappearance; eventually dropped away in Ascot Group 3 since but may still have more to offer; not written off.

Five runs as a 2yo; made debut over 6f but campaigned at 7f afterwards, running away with a maiden at Chester (good to soft) before a good second in a York sales race last October; absent for five months prior to a facile success in a 6f handicap at Southwell in March, racing freely and hanging left in the straight but in a different class to some fair handicappers; in much deeper today and looks to face a stiff task at the weights but the Southwell performance smacked of a hugely talented, if slightly wayward, colt and this stiff 6f should suit; unraced on faster than good.
