Acts on heavy; easily won the 3m6f NH Chase at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival and this will be only his second appearance over a marathon trip; that's enticing but he was pulled up in the 2023 Cheltenham Gold Cup and has not really sparked in his three runs this term; did not take to it at all on the banks course at Punchestown last time but there are none of those hindrances here.

Below best this season and didn't jump well when well-beaten fourth to Coko Beach on cross-country debut at Punchestown (3m, soft to heavy) last month; however, it's possible he'll improve a bundle for that experience and he's been a class act in the past, winning the NH Chase here in 2022 (3m6f, good to soft) and runner-up to Galopin Des Champs in the Grade 1 Irish Gold Cup (3m, yielding) last February; in the mix if tapping back into that ability.

Won the 3m6f National Hunt Chase at the 2022 Cheltenham festival; three high-level runs last season, though posed no threat in the Irish Gold Cup; struggled from early in the Cheltenham Gold Cup; trip was inadequate in the John Durkan on seasonal debut; more like it behind Allaho at Thurles; hugely interesting recruit to the cross-country scene.

Won the 3m6f National Hunt Chase at the 2022 Cheltenham festival; ran only three times last season; decent effort against the 8lb-receiving Minella Indo at Tramore; posed no threat to Galopin Des Champs in the Irish Gold Cup; struggled from early in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, tongue-tie on for the first time now; trip looks inadequate.
