Won Group 2 over a mile on Irish Champions Weekend in September before disappointing in heavy-ground Group 1 at Doncaster; beaten less than a length from a bad draw in the French 2,000 Guineas but couldn't sustain his effort when fading to midfield in the Prix du Jockey Club; well fancied for Royal Ascot Group 2 over 1m4f but weakened tamely in the straight; bringing him back in trip looks an obvious move and, despite 5lb penalty, should go close at this level if anywhere near his best. |
