Overcame trouble in running to score by a nose over C&D in July; better form over 1m6f and 2m on next two starts, albeit appearing stretched by the latter trip; a lesser show over 1m3f next time was on AW and only eight days later; perhaps that can be excused but he is unraced on worse than good to soft.

3-11 including winning a Newcastle maiden (1m2f, Tapeta) in March last year; has raced exclusively on turf since, most recently a creditable sixth of 16 in a warm handicap at York (2m, good to firm) eight days ago; didn't appear to get home there, but a question as to whether this trip is far enough.

Got daylight late on when he won by a nose at Newbury (1m4f, good) last month on first run since being gelded; finished strongly but too late from out the back when close third of 13 at Goodwood (good to firm; Knightswood also close) on move up to 1m6f, so he retains potential at that trip and 2m now looks worth a go; up just another 1lb, one to note.

Unraced on soft; won twice last season (strong late on over 1m4f here on second occasion) and has found a little extra this term, getting daylight in the final 1f when he won by a nose at Newbury (1m4f) 15 days ago; that was his first run since being gelded; this new trip now looks well worth a go.
