Runner-up in nursery here (1m, soft) last October on final 2yo start; returned to form when close third at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) last month but well behind Marhaba Ghaiyyath when tackling 1m2f for the first time at Goodwood since; has a tongue-tie added to his blinkers; yard in form but others arrive with more compelling claims.

Stays 2m and waiting tactics seem to suit; 14th in this race in 2022 and 16th in 2023, but this 8yo is thrown in on form as recent as early 2024; easily his closest finish since came at Ascot two weeks ago, in a steadily run Shergar Cup race which does not provide compelling evidence but it did show that some spark remains and connections now turn to cheekpieces.

Easily made all in small-field handicap at Salisbury (1m4f, good to firm) in June and not beaten far when fourth of nine at Glorious Goodwood (1m4f, good); with a leading trainer and further improvement can't be discounted now up in trip, but it's necessary and others have more pressing claims.

8-11 when getting up late over 1m here on debut in January and kept on for second of five in 1m novice here in March; absent since but this 400,000euros breeze-up buy has obvious potential now at 1m2f on handicap debut.

She can be awkward leaving the stalls and a slow start could prove costly at this course, but that hasn't stopped her winning her last two races, at Southwell (5f, AW) then Ascot (5f, good); did it pretty cosily last time and a 5lb rise may not be enough to stop this progressive 3yo.
