Tailed off at Carlisle three weeks ago when back from a long layoff and he has to prove how much ability he retains; however, he may have needed that run and this 8yo is well treated on his 2021-22 form.

Consistent sort (and a 3m hurdles winner) in 2021 but he returns from a 23-month absence here so others are preferred on this occasion.

Had a modest strike-rate and he was pulled up at Kelso last month; however, he was reportedly unsuited by the testing ground and he was running well in defeat previously; sole win came over C&D last January and he certainly has a chance if bouncing back to form.

Only 1-24 but he's consistent and has been beaten single-digit lengths in his last two handicaps; unlikely to be far away.
